Pure Potions have arrived!

Recently I wrote to Pure Potions to ask if I could try some of their products to include on my blog as a review feature and they very kindly agreed. I heard back from a really helpful person, thanks Jess for your positive response and thank you to Pure Potions on the whole for investing in me and providing me with some products from the dry skin range to try and review.

These products are hand made using 100% natural ingredients (no harmful chemicals), they are suitable for people of all ages and can be used almost anywhere on your body, they are suitable for those with eczema, dermatitis and dry sensitive skin. Interestingly these products are also suitable for use on pets to combat dry patches, etc. For more information about Pure Potions products see here

The products that I have kindly been given to try are:

This is described as an intensive natural hand cream for daily nourishment and maintenance of hands. Hands come into contact with a number of allergens and irritants every day, which can leave them dry, sore and cracked. Once the barrier is broken down on the skin of the hands further irritants can get in easily and the problem worsens. To combat this, it is vital to find a product that gently protects the hands whilst feeding nutrients into the skin for healthy regeneration.

First impressions - This is a fairly lightweight cream, it is not highly scented and I am using this on my legs at current, so far it's made a real difference. I will discuss results when a little more time has passed.

This salve is described as a deep moisturiser, which is suitable for people with dry, itchy, skin and people prone to eczema. Rich, deeply moisturising and restorative. Skin Salvation forms a semi-occlusive barrier which protects the skin from external irritants.
it  is said to nourish, hydrate and deliver essential fatty acids to dry, irritated areas of skin.

First impressions - This product smells slightly like mashed bananas, its very thick and nourishing and so far it has done a great job on my partner rough man hands! This is in progress, I am going to give this product a total of 2 weeks before I give full comments.

So far I have had good results from these products, they have met expectations and are easy and convenient to use. They are well packaged, the pump action lids on the hand cream and moisturiser give just enough product.

I like the fact that these are so versatile, they can be used anywhere on the body including the face and they can be used in conjunction with so many skin complaints and conditions.

Full review will be posted next weekend!
